Swayambhunath – the temple complex on the top of the hill west of Kathmandu is one of the three bigest buddhist holy places in Nepal. There is big Stupa surounded by sculptures of Buddha, prayer wheels, pilgrims and monkeys. It is also called Monkey Temple. The atmosphere in this sacred place is of total harmony and freedom. People, monkeys, pigeons coexists here in peace. It is very easy to spend all the day there just hearing the sounds of birds and prayer flags in the wind and contemplating views of Kathmandu valley. And yes, making some occasionally photos.
